Description:

Working on behalf of a Local authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new oportunity for a Substance Misuse Worker on a 2 months basis initially with a possibility of further extension.

Main accountabilities:

To take a lead in providing assessment and interventions to identify, prevent and reduce drug and alcohol related offending by children and young people.
This includes working with young people on statutory orders both in the community and in custody as well as those that are willing to engage with treatment services on a voluntary basis.
To Prevent Offending and re-offending by children and young people age 8-17.
